He went off a cliff but for one year the dude was rediculous. He had something like 1700 scrimmage yards and 14 tds iirc.

I forget who it was but someone pointed out that the Fullback blocking for Peyton Hilis is what made him so good. Once he was gone, Hilis dropped off. Mentally too.

I remember when the Browns beat the Patriots and it was almost singlehandedly because Hillis couldn't be brought down.

After the game, Belichick chased him down on the field to shake his hand.

couldn't we all use a fullback in our lives, protecting us from harm and crushing any obstacles that get in our way?

no wonder that made him sad :smith:

all this fullback talk is suddenly making me nostalgic for the days of Lorenzo Neal just bulldozing motherfuckers in Tomlinson's way. Absolute tank of a man.

He wasn't even that good. This was his ~madden cover~ year:

Now compare to Arian Foster same year (another forgotten legend)

Bad, very bad!
Yes but Foster was briefly vegan (or vegetarian or something), clearly that rules him out of a Madden cover.

Better Living Through Birding And Pessimism
It's easy to look at last week's game and say that shows that the Ravens are an above average team. But I don't agree. It's this game, today, that will show what the Ravens actually are. If we can win, we are a legitimate playoff and division contender. If we lose, we are a marginal playoff team that probably does not make it due to difficult schedule.

I believe the Browns will win.
