No idea i ran out flagged down a meter maid who just happened to be driving by. They called in some actual cops i gave them a description and they went in to look for them and told me they might need me to identify him if they found him. I haven't heard anything from them. This wasnt very long ago like two hours maybe.

Ive actually seen poo poo carved in the bathroom stalls that showed up recently that said "google holohoax" and "google david duke" so i wonder if it was the same guy. Ive been going to that library for a while and didn't notice it until recently so it could've been carved recently or maybe i just never noticed

Her dad is also of the SB donor/country club class and a jew. Me and the ex are both lawyers. In other words, we pass as white. Im actually a student at the university, i just liked the local public library because it was close enough to walk to on days when i didn't have class and i didn't need to take the bus. Also it was much less crowded during midterms and finals.

There were like half a dozen cops when i gave the description and they all went into the library but i haven't heard anything so i have no idea if they found the guy or questioned or what.

Report it to student services or whatever as well, cops that may not really care otherwise probably will if they get someone from university administration breathing down their neck to SOLVE THIS so it doesn't hurt enrollments

I just set up a phone appointment with the director of that library, Ms. Cadiente. I introduced myself as a civil rights attorney. I will be grilling her to make sure that she uses the full power of her institution to pursue this. Additionally, she will be hearing from a board member of a library-affiliated charity, which I will make clear during these discussions. Thank you for letting us know about it. Next steps should be involving whatever state sanctioned racial groups your university recognizes as legitimate, and leveraging that.

This actually wasnt at the university library the university is actually like a 20 or so minute bus ride away. It was the public library in downtown SB. So im not sure the school would actually care, but if you think it would help ill definitely strongly consider it. Im just terrified of the guy and his nazi buddies finding out who i am and getting death threats or assaulted or some poo poo since im down here for another year or two at least. It was just me, him, and whoever was in the bathroom stall he knocked on and he definitely saw my face. And there aren't many black people around here so i don't think it would be too hard for him or his buddies to recognize me.

I also didn't actually tell any library staff i considered it on my way out but i was panicking and in a rush to get out and i was terrified he would see me talking to some staff and do something crazy so after i got out the bathroom i rushed to grab my poo poo get out and contact the police. Not sure if that was the right move but i wasn't thinking straight and on the verge of a panic attack.
