Only played a few matches of Blackout cos I ain’t in the headspace for the sweatiness of regular MP tonight but game is good. Altho either the netcode is off or the killcam is wonky or both, I had a couple times where the killcam showed a dude emptying half a clip at the empty space where I used to be and still getting the kill.

Matchmaking for the last few Call of Duty games appears to (mostly) be based on the location of the party leader when determining which server to go to. As far as I know, no one has yet made a PS Community for CoD/FPS players down under, though you should probably ask in the general PS4 thread to be sure. Not a fan of the super quick time to kill & cramped maps. Glad you dudes are enjoying this i’m def getting some buyers remorse because im not having like in blops 1 and 2. Hopefully after a few days i’ll warm up to it

Hoooooly poo poo this game is fun. No server issues at launch for PC so I was impressed out of the box but after getting to fiddle around with some of the guns for a few hours and play a handful of modes I'm pretty sure I'm in the will-be-playing-this-for-its-whole-lifetime camp.

But skins aren't the reason you need to buy boxes - you buy them to get the sick new gun that has a 0.1% chance of dropping and that everyone else on the enemy team kills you with repeatedly. The skins are just there to pad the loot table so the odds of a weapon coming out are lower. I also noticed there is no microtransaction system in this game yet. I know that I got 2400 Kotick Bucks from buying the more money deluxe edition of the game and the game even informed me that it has been redeemed but they are nowhere to be found. I'm going to save it anyway until they add guns to the loot boxes because they always do.

I really wanted to like PUBG but the few times I played it, it was a hanky piece of poo poo with a good idea it couldn’t quite execute. I played fort nite a few times and while it was fun, I wasn’t down with the style of it or the weird construction stuff. So here I am, actually buying a COD game again. Something I said I’d never do. And I’m actually excited! I haven’t played COD since the original BLOPS but blackout mode sounds badass

The one thing I don't like is having healing be an action. It was irritating enough to try and get the last bullet into someone and now I've gotta put even more into him cause he can heal in the middle of a firefight? It's frustrating. Plus I always forget to heal.

So blackout has a split screen option, that sounds pretty impressive and great because now when my buddy phones up and says let's get stoned and play dota i can be all ...actually 93 minutes to go

^ - You want your sensitivity high enough to track a target running perpendicular to you while aiming down the sights (6+). And nobody gets good without practice. Gotta put in the hours like any other skill-based hobby. Playing with teammates helps a lot though. At least in TDM and KC, anyway. And playing with teammates goes a long way to covering mistakes or a lack of experience; easier to git gud when you aren't constantly being blindsided. Now that I found a gun that clicks with me (I do love the Titan), the game is growing on me. Thanks for whoever gave the tip to turn up/down sensitivity depending on situation. Not impressed with the Specialist HQ. Honestly, I probably expected too much, like a light stealth campaign. Though what it actually is, a training mission for each specialist and bot matchup, I would have been fine with. But then the former has an insufferable dudebro yelling at you and the later has REALLY stupid bots, and I do not care to see if they get better at higher difficulties.
