The Wentworth postal votes seem fairly strong for Dave Sharma. I'm not sure if there can be enough to make up the gap but it looks like the final result will be fairly close.

Do they fast track the delivery of postal votes in by elections or could there be up to 6000 more postal votes floating in the system? edit: because other than that, if I'm reading the AEC results page correctly, there's only 1266 postal votes left to go with Phelps 884 votes ahead. I would blow Dane Cook posted:I think it’s time for ScoMo to break out the raw onions. After all, there’s still a handful of escaped mental patients who think Tony Abbott should make a comeback, and if ScoMo could possibly swing them behind him by necking a fistful of stinking fresh bulbs and stripping down to a pair of bright, red dick-stickers, why not just go for it? The alternative is going limp in the middle of the road and just waiting for the eighteen wheel road train that’s coming to turn him into street pizza. And it could hardly be less ill-considered than trashing decades of bipartisan agreement not to gently caress around with the septic mess of Isreali-Palestinian politics for the sake of a few votes. I almost let the hope atom back in listening to Phelps on RN this morning. Even if she is a complete tory poo poo smear that needs a short trip to a long drop guillotine.

AEC says 1,266 envelopes left to process This means it should break about 810 - 456 votes each So the final totals might be 530 / 74,284 or 0.7%. It would have to be under 100 votes different to be an automatic recount. Edit : The AEC is not showing Any provisional, declaration or absentee votes for Wentworth ? Edit 2 : Oh yeah, you have 2 weeks to get your papers back, there are 6,112 papers that were issued that were not returned, so government in crisis for next 2 weeks I guess. code:
