So I'm pretty sure he's not, but I have to ask the question given how I just performed: Is M. Bison considered a boss character in this game? I know he flip-flops on if he's a boss character or just a regular one, and running through arcade mode with him I had one of those 'I feel like I'm garbage at this guy but I'm doing way better than with anyone else' moments so I want to know if I'm legitimately maybe good at him or if he's just overpowered.

"Boss character" is kind of a meaningless phrase tbh. Sometimes single-player modes have beefed-up versions of characters (SFA3 dictator, SF4 Gouken, e.g.), but the beefed-up versions are never ever playable with the exception of ST Akuma. The original Akuma and Gill are the only characters to only exist in boss (read: broken for competitive multiplayer) form in their respective games. Dictator in this game is a regular character, but he is very strong. PS, you're not good at a character you just picked up, and arcade mode means nothing for how good you are.

they actually severely hosed up the timing in cheap cheap's stage for ps4 parappa, i spent 2 hours just trying to activate cool on it when it came out and eventually ended up booting up both the psp version and ps1 version on a crt just to make sure i wasnt going completely insane (i wasn't, i got cool in the first 2 lines every time on those) the secret to vib ribbon is to internalize the shapes to the buttons they correspond to. the rectangles are on L because L is a right angle, like a rectangle. loops are on R because R's have loops in em. pits are on down because the pits go down. spikes are on x because it's pointy like an x (this is the one i took the most liberties with but it works)

All it took was a loke test too. I wonder how much of the game they'll change after the arcade release since I can't imagine SFV making any money in an arcade environment where you can play literally any other FG made in the last 10 years for the same cost
