https://twitter.com/heraldleader/status/1056510210519547904 Several municipalities have "Trail of Treats" events, including the worst of the lot, Cloverport, Kentucky which has a Trail of Treats as part of the Cloverport Sacajawea Festival. The festival crowns a "Big Princess Sacajawea" from the local girls, because of course it does. Bert Roberge has issued a correction as of 14:47 on Oct 28, 2018 |

the forever war is my favorite science fiction story of all time, it has literally everything and it's fantastically well conceived and thoughtful, the best use of relativity and time dilation ever and a really neat take on macroscopic changes over history it starts in the 1970s and ends in like the year ten thousand, with a Vietnam era American soldier periodically visiting home from his infinite hyperwar lightyears away and seeing things change. first everything goes to poo poo, then man develops into a weird technodystopia, then sexless clones, then ultimately humanity like does a bio singularity I don't want to spoil everything but it is truly a great piece of writing and honestly that cover is a pretty accurate rendition of the SPACE MARINE ARMOR
