Huh. I guess if you're getting the ball back at the half if I could understand why you wouldn't try for points to close out the second, but this feels like one of those games where you're going to need all the points you can get.

So maybe one of y'all has some insight. As a dumbass observer who's never played football in his life, it looks to me like blocking is kind of a social contract. Like a lot of times, the defenders look like they're intentionally aiming to lock up with a blocker high rather than find a way to slip past them and get the ball carrier. I'm sure I'm super wrong about this, but I can't help watching the slo-mos and going "dude, just go underneath him and dive at the runner"

Well come now, it's not like any team can score a TD or something with such little time left. especially against the saints PostNouveau posted:So maybe one of y'all has some insight. It's just often a better choice to eliminate a blocker than try and go around him, since if you do get around him and then fail to make the tackle, there's still a blocker in front of the runner. Whereas if you lock up that blocker, one of your guys can come in and make the tackle.

Why would you pass on 4th and 1 there? It's not like you've got Blake Bortles taking the snaps.

Empty backfield is just Cam Jordan putting you on a clock. E: And don't pass to your worst option when he's covered by Lattimore. Also NBC is usually trying to be clever with their music bumpers, so why Michael Jackson's Scream?
