Apocalypse had the best instant kill spells in the series as without the smirk status effect then they are just light and dark damage spells.

I cannot loving believe they're putting Persona 1 on the PS Classic.

At least they're putting up the version with superior music.

It's literally called Revelations: Persona on the PSN store. To release the JP PS1 version would require translating the entire game. For the third time. For a PSN Classics release. Or they could release the version that already exists in English. ![]()

Sorry, misinterpreted the announcement. Doesn't change that it's actively billed as the Revelations release.

Did eventually get back into it, the story was definitely worth it because it really went places.

I haven't been following Megaten stuff in forever but the dancing games are they any good? I slammed down a pre-order for the bundle with 3, 4, and 5 because it's Amazon and why not. I didn't play 4 in the Vita but is it basically just a Theatrhythm sort of game where you tap through a bare bones story with music from the game? Because if so I'm going to cancel this thing.

Most of the music is remixes and there's apparently a pseudo-story that will probably not matter at all or be canon. The P4 one is slightly different as well as canon and it's loving stupid. I have it preordered as well and I don't plan on cancelling it but I can't imagine based on your post that you'll find it worthwhile.

Because if so I'm going to cancel this thing. 3 and 5 have no story mode. It is basically a rhythm game where you tap in time with the music and you play dress up with characters. I think there are short character interaction scenes you unlock in 3/5, but only 4 has a story. After the playing the demos though I immediately preordered them because its chill and the remixes from the demo were pretty good.

I mean don't get me wrong I absolutely dig Theatrhythm, Elite Beat Agents and Ouendan but $100 this time of year is steep. I might wait a bit and pick them up later. I can always dust off the Vita/pstv and get P4 dancing there versus on the PS4.

How did you check your alighnment in IV before the point of no return again? I remember someone mentioning a specific npc in a bar that makes a comment about it, but I don't remember which one. Is the alternative method about check alighnment on worldmap by observing the character icon consistent throughout the whole game?

I think the guy who tells you your alignment is in every bar except obviously not the Mikado one. I forget what he's called but there are only like usually two or three other NPCs besides the bartender to talk to.

Uncle Kitchener posted:Is IV:A any better than IV? Anything new worth looking into or just skip? You'll get mixed answers on if the story is better, but the gameplay is unquestionably far better in 4A. It's a whole new game and a sequel to 4 (even though it starts during the events of 4) so it's definitely worth playing.

Possibly dumb question that I just can't seem to find a definitive answer to... I'm well into NG+ on Persona 5, and I'm trying to clear up trophies. For the "Max all confidants" one, do you have to do them all on a single playthrough, or does the game remember the ones you've already done? Same with reading the books, etc. Mainly I ask because I've screwed up and lost my window for the Sun confidant (I didn't know it was time sensitive), so now I'm possibly looking at another run through the game. I mean goddammit, I'm at 184 cumulative hours already.
