Pretty much. The cheapest I've found it was like $45 used without a case & pokewalker. I should have pulled the trigger on it, but I can't justify buying a game at $45+ unless I know that I'm going to start playing it immediately. And I'm not. I have a ton of other games I could play. And like half a dozen projects to work on instead of playing a game. But I loved Pokemon Silver. I was on a big pokemon kick a couple years back, replaying through yellow and silver and having a great old time. I got a bit excited and bought copies of the other gens, then played into gen 3 for a couple hours and lost all interest. I dunno, I think it changed just enough that I don't dig it anymore. The minigames, the more talking, the different art direction. I don't think it's just nostalgia that makes me enjoy those old ones...

I've never watched Girls or paid attention to whatever Lena Dunham does besides that, so this series of posts make it almost sound like she's the devil incarnate. Now, please don't explain why you dislike her or think she's unsuitable for this. In this case I enjoy my ignorance, it's quite amusing (seriously, I'm not being sarcastic here).

Every couple years I get the Pokemon urge and I just recently went out and bought a used copy of Pokemon X. Never played X/Y and it's pretty fun but omg the camera is terrible. I got one of these weird rear end things right now though and he's real and strong and he's my friend:

It's by two of the men behind the League of Gentlemen, if that's familiar to any of you. It combines the same humour, darkness, horror, comedy, absurdity and grotesquerie that LOG did, but not to quite the same degree. Each episode is a self-contained story, and they vary quite a lot in tone, from comedy, to horror, to absurdity, and pathos. I don't think any are bad, a lot are good, and some are really excellent. I think a lot of people here would really enjoy and appreciate them.

Ultra Moon however is gaming nirvana, holy poo poo it's good and filled with great old mons in addition to cool new ones and the camera is legit amazing.
