I have a physical copy of Stern Pinball Arcade and it's a mix of both good and bad. I mostly play High Roller Casino and the Mustang one. The Last Action Hero table is hot garbage.

Nintendo released their six months earnings report a couple of hours ago, and so far Nintendo's train keeps on pushing.Nintendo posted:For the six months ended September 30, 2018, Nintendo Switch hardware continued to be quite popular, reaching 5.07 million units sold (3.7% increase on a year-on-year basis). Software like Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze sold 1.67 million units after its May release, and Mario Tennis Aces sold 2.16 million units after it was released in June. Sales of other popular titles that were released during previous fiscal years and titles released by other software publishers continued to grow, bringing the total number of million-seller titles during this period to 9, including the titles of other software publishers. The total software sales for Nintendo Switch reached 42.13 million units (91.3% increase on a year-on-year basis).

They said DLC for current games though so I can’t really imagine what other games that could be for.

By and large, Nintendo's DLC has been leaps and bounds above the competition's. When $12 nets you Mario Kart 8 half over again, it's pretty incredible. Their free updates have been rad too. I'm looking forward to whatever's coming down the pipes.

They are really counting on Smash and Pokemon, a little less than 40 million by march is a lot of Switches. Tbh I kinda doubt they'll make numbers like that, but they just passed lifetime sales of the gamecube and will breeze past the n64 in that time so they're definitely doing alright. Next sales milestone to beat after that is the SNES at a little less than 50 million.

Breath of the Wild dlc was the only Nintendo dlc I was disappointed by, it was all either QOL stuff that should have been in the base game, cosmetic stuff, or more shrines in a game that already had 120 shrines. I guess master mode would be cool if I was a masochist and also didn't own any other games

The Direct will be followed by a post-show Nintendo Treehouse: Live presentation, featuring live gameplay of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee!, Yoshi’s Crafted World, and Diablo III: Eternal Edition. So the Treehouse basically counts as a general direct, it seems.
