I visited a puffin colony on the Faroe Islands a few years ago. It's one of the best things I've ever done, highly recommended

On my walk today in some bushland near where I live in Sydney I was greeted by a Brush Turkey and saw a Sulphur Crested Cockatoo having lunch

Bert Roberge posted:Here's an ocellated turkey (Meleagris ocellata). That video says that those turkeys won't be on anyone's table. I wanted to hear more of their sounds, so I looked for other videos. The third result is some dude hunting them on his hunting show. Happier video. That Robin just looks like it's complaining the whole time. I like his grumpy face. https://youtu.be/LQJzuGb6Gkk Bored has a new favorite as of 06:24 on Nov 6, 2018 |

Tiny birb demands you vote. I apologize for the issues with the bird not appearing. It was attempted on my phone and things did not go well. Tiny birb still demands your vote. Master Twig has a new favorite as of 23:53 on Nov 6, 2018 |

They are everywhere and just as happy in urban areas as they are in the bush. There were 5 of them hanging out on the junction of the main road near me, perching on power lines and lampposts. The Rainbow Lorikeets are also back dining on the Bottle-Brush tree in front of my balcony. It’s good to see them again, feels like spring now.
