Nothing on that resume actually qualifies Mr. James for a government seat.

Uh...so...I guess Ben Garrison cannot even bring himself to draw a picture of Ted Cruz? It really would not go well opposite Beto's "resume" there, so I can't say I blame him for NOT trying.

garrison is crying that the GOP isnt funding long-shot senate candidates while the Dems are all about Beto's long-shot campaign, cruz isnt part of that argument

all garrison does these days is suck off trump and go on about whatever "oppression" the right is enduring while they control the entire federal government and a majority of state legislatures.

Also thank me for reminding me that wonderful picture (no, why, I had blissfully forgotten it :gonk:)

If you forgot this (or missed it for the first time) it was Garrison gushing over how deep and talented the 2016 bench of empty suits and racists in the Republican Primary was.

Pretty much. The whole Blexit thing they did and attached his name to (apparently without his approval) caused him to basically say gently caress this, I'm done talking about politics.

Something like that. They used his name on their "Blexit" campaign and he didn't like that.

Scott is an incredibly well connected republican so him saying that does have more weight than some rando but it could just also be republicans panicking that for the first time in decades they've had to actually, you know, have an opponent that makes the race tight on the national level. It's good they're scared, I hope they're scared, but don't ascribe him saying this to a for sure bad omen when it could just be a bunch of pampered state elites crying that the mean democrats actually made them spend money this year

Headline way oversells the article but there's a fun anecdote here:

quote:

The size and scope of the O’Rourke campaign’s undertaking has dwarfed efforts by Ted Cruz For Senate, which reportedly outsourced its own turnout operation to the team working on behalf of Republican Gov. Greg Abbott’s re-election. That was news to Dave Carney, the political consultant coordinating turnout for Abbott. “Yeah, I heard that — last week,” Carney chuckles when Rolling Stone asked him about the report. The joke is that Abbott actually has a field operation, and Cruz…doesn’t. “We’ve got 120 field staff, they have, like, five,” Carney says, still laughing. “On a weekend, we talk to 35,000 people and they talk to 400.”
