Just wait, it'll turn out to be the Dark Lord has a cheat ability that lets him cast a single spell all day every day however much he wants. One after the other again and again. And that spell is Explosion. And he still decided to seal his castle off and tie the seal to his generals to keep everyone away from him. Because not even infinite Explosions can save you from the Axis Cult (Eris pads her breasts.)

Much like "Nozaki thinks Sakura is already his girlfriend" is such a perfect ending to Nozaki-kun that any other ending would be inappropriate.

Man with that party that sounds horrible. They even show Megumin using explosion and dropping to 0 MP in the teaser. And we know Darkness can't hit anything, Aqua is completely useless, and Kazuma is trash. Yunyun is part of the party so i guess she will just do all the damage against normal enemies.

I personally hope the devil king is actually a super great guy who put up the barrier because it was the only way to get any sort of relief from the constant stream of adventurers trying to get at him.
