It's the only murder mystery film which I paused before the final gathering just so I could go over the clues myself (and I love how Poirot himself lists all the details you should have paid attention prior to revealing their significance). It was shot by Christopher Challis, who worked on most of Powell and Pressburger's later films, so it looks quite pretty as well.
