I somehow managed to not ever knowingly hear Creed back when they were big so I assumed all the Scott Stapp impressions were the 00s version of a Bob Dylan impression. Imagine my shock when out of curiosity a few months back I listened to "Higher" on Youtube and realized that he actually sings like that.

Holy poo poo, I can't believe I'd never seen that Creed video. I had MTV on 24/7 back in those days, and I would've definitely remembered that. Californication sucks too, but mostly because that song has no business being five and a half minutes long; it's the same two parts over and over.
