My 5s squad would have to be

1. Squirtle (as main but pokemon trainer gives versatility)
2. Sonic
3. Pit/Dark Pit (depends on who's better this game)
4. Dedede
5. Bowser or Megaman (see how i feel that day)

My 3s would probably be

1. Squirtle (again, main but would still probably use the other 2 in some situations)
2. Sonic
3. Bowser or Megaman (gotta feel the choice in my heart, the power of the cards)

kind of a mix of who I've liked from past games and who I usually am good at but less fond of. i'm really curious how this mode is going to play out, and it's a shame it doesn't seem to be an option online

i also am 90% sure these will completely change once the game actually comes out. theres a good dozen characters i want to play but i dont know what they're going to be like yet

not sure how I feel about "THIS TIME, NINTENDO OK'D ALL THE DLC" though I'm leaning towards the belief that this means another loving Fire Emblem character to advertise the newest game, much like Corrin was way before the game was in North America, which would suck poo poo.

I have no idea who else is on the plate though I'd suspect it involves games we don't even know about yet.

I mean, it could also be that Nintendo presented him a list of characters that they were ok with negotiating the rights for from third parties and then some other stuff. I mean, back when Smash 4 DLC was still coming I'm pretty sure no one was expecting we'd get Ryu, Cloud, and Bayonetta as characters. I know I certainly wasn't expecting 3rd party DLC additions.

Doesn't do us much good to worry about it right now. We're at least a couple months out from learning about the first non-Piranha Plant DLC character.
