Shredders (sims x POS) is a fun romp of fast rap tracks with equally fun choppy beats. Four Fists (POS x astronautalis) is one of the craziest albums I've heard this year with tracks ranging from fun and weird to introspective and self-assuring. Dessa released her best solo album thus far earlier this year, in my opinion of course. They're definitely still pumping out quality material, so if you fell off for a while it is definitely a good time to hop back on.

It’s less that I fell off their recent material and more that their style doesn’t do it for me in the same way it used to. It feels cornier now than it did when I was getting into “conscious” stuff. I should listen to the Four Fists record though because P.O.S himself is still one of my favorites. Wasn’t huge on the new Dessa. They do absolutely bring it live as a group though. It’s kind of like a punk show.

Astronautalis brings as much to the table as P.O.S. and he's not even part of the collective. Just a really good album all around.
