I had a friend that ate ants on a stump using cucumber in place of celery. It just seems wrong, even if it's not that different. I love that this thread has strong opinions about celery. Celery. My own two cents is that celery root (celeriac) is loving awesome. Apparently you can't eat the stalks of that variety, though.
