Like, even if you trusted some Russian foreign national implicitly the FSB absolutely can and will force them to cooperate with whatever they want by loving with them or their family and there is nothing you can do to help them or prevent it from happening. For their own protection you cannot give Russian nationals the level of access you'd normally give local consular staff (or in this case a corporation they outsourced that poo poo to - ironically based in one of the very few countries on the planet with a similar if less blatant issue).
