Mr. Mime, like Jynx, belongs to the subset of Pokemon that you're not supposed to think about too hard, lest your conscious mind be lost to the void.

Honestly I should hate U2. I certainly did when I was a kid, when my friend loved Joshua Tree and the terrible tour movie and I couldn't stand them and I was listening to Jane's Addiction and Run-DMC.

But then the amazing soundtrack for Wim Wenders' cyberpunk epic Until the End of the World had a U2 song on it that I actually loved (it also has one of the best unreleased REM songs, and a killer Nick Cave tune). So I listened to and enjoyed Achtung Baby, and in my first year of college Zooropa was truly my jam, even though at the time I wasn't listening to anything else nearly that mainstream - mostly I was really into industrial and Sonic Youth and Pavement and some goth poo poo

As people I absolutely hate them for helping ruin Negativland's collective lives and career, or at least failing to stop Island Records from ruining them, despite the time I alluded to before when Mondo 2000 got The Edge on the phone with Don Joyce and Don asked him for $30,000 to cover legal bills and The Edge said he'd be happy to give it to them.

Did Stan ever do an AoS cameo? The netflix stuff he was just a picture in the police station and a mural I think.
