There is missable stuff but nothing of consequence. You can straight shoot it without much fear. As far as I can tell it doesn’t have any impact on Undertale or Vice Versa

Two things if you absolutely must, and only the first one's a "have to do-over if you miss": 1) If you are completely pacifist to the enemies, you'll get a different "ending" after beating the last story boss of the demo than if one accidentally gets knocked out. This doesn't affect the actual ending of the chapter. 2) After a long elevator sequence with some talking in it, you can get back in the elevator (which you have no real reason to do in plot) and choose to go to a hidden floor. That'll be your hook to find the optional fight of the chapter. That said, if you try to go back to bed at the beginning of the game, you'll skip straight to the real gameplay segment and be able to pick up a speed text-skipper, so replaying isn't too much of an onus. It's like a three or four hour demo if you take your time and talk to everyone and look around.

People keep thinking chess references when they see the references to The Knight and The Queen, but in Tarocchi (The early Tarot/Playing cards), there's actually 4 royal cards instead of 3: King, Queen, Knight, and Jack.

Caught up with this thread. Completely unique opinion: game's real good and real fun, Suzie is excellent, Ralsei is a real good fluffy boy, I want more real bad. Some people have said they can't get their gamepads working with the game. If you have you pad set up with Steam, you can add DELTARUNE.exe as a non-steam game and Steam will handle it. Did this with my non-functional PS4 pad and it worked great immediately. EDIT: Hoping for Noelle party member in the future.

I accidentally listened to Darkness Falls and realized that it's got some minor similarities to the piano notes of Another Him. It's very small and probably means nothing but I was feeling left out of all the bad speculation.

Gaster’s theme is all over the Deltarune soundtrack if you know what to look/listen for.

you know I'm totally open to the idea of Gaster being a major part of the game (in fact I kinda prefer it over him just being a background thing) as long as 1) He doesn't feel out of left field in the POV of those who are unfamiliar with the Gaster stuff (perhaps even those who are unfamiliar with Undertale) 2) He fits in with the game in a thematic sense

Gaster will probably not be revealed as the ultimate final boss or mastermind behind the whole plot or w/e. He's always going to be spoopy Still, this 4 hour demo dropped as many Gaster hints as the entirety of Undertale so I'm certain we're going to get more info on him.
