Sounds like you had way more caffeine hit you than your body was expecting. Did you poop at any point? Pooping and caffeine go together like salami and gains.

Also don't dehydrate yourself.

have you tried light weight hammer curls? I'm talking a few sets of like 20+ slow reps. Just to get the blood pumping. It's basically the "do more pulling" of the elbow trick.


Also I'm ditching the powerlifts, but staying high bar I think. Tonight I could feel my back "tighten" at the bottom of each rep. I think I was hyper extending it because I had too much ankle mobility or something weird like that. It wasn't a sharp pain or really bad pain and didn't seem to get worse or bad but I tried taking the shoes off and squatting in socks, but high bar still and it felt really good so I'm going to probably just keep doing that. It felt better on my knees even, I even hit 15 reps on my amrap and that poo poo sucked but didn't feel like it was breaking anything.

My elbow pain was just my shoulder issue relocating for a while. The nerves are all connected (see also my forearm and wrist pain and numbness in fingers).

Yeah, a few weeks ago when I was dealing with that weird nerve pain thing around my rear delt, it would eventually radiate and turn into an ache in my elbow which hung around for a week or two even after the shoulder part went away. I think low bar squatting was aggravating it even more since the bar was pressed right into that spot. seems to be better now at least.

These are opposite sides so that wouldn't be it. My right shoulder is utterly hosed and has irreparable damage, so I get pain in my left shoulder and my right elbow from overcompensating.

I felt a stronger pinch in my left elbow than my generally-worse right arm when I had those issues.

Both my shoulders are dodgy now, but I'm starting to think it's as much carpal tunnel computer-toucher disease as it is cool weightlifting injury. Lefty has gotten way worse since I switched to using a mouse left-handed to avoid aggravating righty.

I'm also not allowed to sit on my comfy sofa as sinking down into it was pushing my shoulders in bad positions.

Things I can do: model kits, washing dishes, clean & jerk (my split jerk suuucks after so long off)

Anyone have a good jerk tutorial video? I've watched Klokov, Clarence, and the Juggernaut pillars series, and for whatever reason it's just not clicking. Anything more than the bar I've just been push pressing so I don't hurt myself.

i stupidly spent few months squatting my baby weights in wraps before.someone pointed out it was a big advantage ans i took them off and was back to square one again
cant squat without sleeves tho my knees are poo

my squat has been so problematic for me and so slow to go anywhere because of my huge hip imbalance and inactive left glute.

my best is 160kg for 8 reps, 195kg for 2 reps, 180kg for 5 reps etc (all in sleeves) . never gone over 440lbs yet but im hoping the mobility work ive been doing recently and lighter SSB bar work will help it out. my deadlift has steadily progressed fantastically but my squat has just been spinning wheels for 3 years now.

i know Cailer Woolams squat is loving garbage compared to his deadlift so i dont feel too bad and use that to justify myself.
