Anybody ever swapped out a blade switch tip on a PRS SE? I got a generic import Strat-style tip and it doesn't even slightly fit, the slot is much too wide. Is there some wacky size that only PRS uses?

CV looks like it fits the bill. I’m a little wary of not having an HB, since part of me wants guitars that can be anything. But I also have a Pacifica already, so the Tele can be itself. It’s probably not even a big deal at any rate. I’ll see if GC has any I can try.

Mostly he's just noodling over E major. There's a lot of licks and chords that use lots of extensions, so if you're interested in those kinds of sounds I would explore sus chords, as well as 11 and 13 chords.

GC didn't have a classic vibe around. Hell they only had a little section for Teles period. Strat seems to be king. I can't get over how purty those shiny necks are. Even the beat up floor models seem to play nicer than the one I have already, I think I'll take a stab at truss rod adjustment and see if I can't lower the action a little bit. I hope the switches on a non-demo model aren't spongey.

Although, I have a physics degree and I still have to look up which direction to turn the screw to fix the intonation.

Would you guys have an opinion on the smaller Orange Crush stuff (looking at a used 20RT combo) vs a Boss Katana Mini as a bedroom amp? I was looking at stuff around $100 and can find the 20 watt Crushes used for that here. This is still "christmas gift for a total newbie" poo poo.
