In addition to bad driving I wouldn’t be surprised if those shelves were massively overloaded or in disrepair. I’m one of the first to say that forklifts have to be respected in every single situation no matter how small but I’ve also seen forklifts wreck a few support legs of pallet racking (not all at the same time) before and nothing just exploded. It looks like all he did was nudge one of the shelves but I guess that might have dislodged it from its notches.

pretty sure its safe to say that those shelves were not to any kind of legal code. the dude only touched the shelf and the entire warehouse collapsed.

If it'd been me, the real miracle would have been if they'd found any cheese left after trapping it in there with me for eight hours.

i dont see how it would take 8 hours to get him out. i know stuff is heavy, but he wasn't buried that deep.

Yeah, I'm prepared to accept that the forklift operator started the chain reaction through bad driving, but that the result of an accident like that shouldn't be warehouse dominoes, even if the operator fully dislodged an entire pallet.
