I’m out of the Amazon Fresh stuff and I don’t want to start grinding on the Stonecreek whole bean the the Day School sold us, so I’m going to break open a thing of ‘Bucks iced coffee mix and try brewing the coffee from it.

It says “Chocolate Coconut” on the box. :vomarine:

Holiday reminder that civet coffee is literal animal cruelty (above and beyond the baseline commonly accepted by Late Modern Capitalist so-called “democracy”, I mean).

Do not buy civet coffee for yourself or for others, do not accept it as a gift.

our coffee machine says it needs to be descaled, but that will prevent it from making coffee for hours, so gently caress that

Since my mom :rip:'ed and my dad moved into a condo he doesn't really drink coffee except socially so every time I come over he has to de-mold the machine.

this

and something about the varieties grown in hawaii (or just their roasting habits) result in less acid / less acrid beans. it doesn't give me reflux like some of the other local roasters around the sf bay area do

kinda jealous of my friend's all in one french press and insulated decanter setup, makes 3 cups and keeps it warm for the entire day

aeropress is great but sometimes you just want one more cup without the pagentry of brewing again
