My girlfriend and I just finished season 2 of The Wire, her first time watching and my second, and gently caress if it isn't even better than I remember when I first watched it like 8 or so years ago. What a truly phenomenal show.

Not really surprised about Neil deGrasse Tyson at all sadly. That thing about the phone is the exact pompous "Well actually..." kind of poo poo he pulls all the drat time except in a grosser than normal way. In fact I wouldn't be surprised at all if he responded to these allegations much like he's correcting the accusers more than refuting them.

Thirding the love for Nightflyers. David Ajala (Manchester Black off Supergirl) is the standout so far, he's so spooky. Great opening credits. Straight up fast paced pulp. Good stuff.

Bodied is the rap battle movie or is there a series I'm not seeing? I ordered a Gustav Dore calendar for 2019 but instead I received  Which afaict is a Canadian-exclusive version of the "wet and wild" moments featured on the 58-year-old north English working class soap opera Coronation street, which has nearly 10000 episodes. I've sent in for a replacement but I hope they let me keep it, I've got gag gift events and this is by far the most preposterous idea for a calendar I've ever seen.
