Up until the 60s there were British companies, at least in the motorcycle industry, who were capable of undertaking R&D, QA, and mass manufacturing on a large scale which produced products which were well designed and reliable by the standards of the day. At some point they just got tired and had some tea and a nap and haven't woken up yet.

I read a hilarious article today about how Ford and GM are ending small car production because no one is buying them, but strangely the Japanese manufacturers are not having this problem.

It turns out when you consistently build crap for 25 years people get turned off, even if the Cruze/Focus are good cars now.

I just ripped a massive chili and sushi infused fart and it just instantly stank up my general area like it's loving foul rancid. I'm fairly certain there was material with that blast the sort of fart you'd do in the middle of the night and startle yourself awake. Holy God Almighty smells like I ate a loving corpse like I need to make an appointment with my doctor ASAP for a GI tract analysis. I need a bidet.

Still blows my mind he was stupid enough to do that. I mean yeah a big cat is still a big. Cat. But they're also predators and occasionally maim and kill people, even professionals paid to handle them. Like I've had house cats most of my life and I recognise that the only reason they haven't killed and eaten me is because I'm bigger, and even then I've caught them giving me the eye and clearly considering it.

Some conspiracy theorists are saying that a certain other country with a big car industry was jealous and worried about competing with British motoring, so they made Britain secretly sabotage those companies as a condition for joining the EU in 1973. I think it sounds crazy, but I have to admit that the math checks out.

I got two spanials and a chihuahua x yorkie and guess which one is a monumental pain in the arse? Did have a Chinese crested powderpuff for years and she would go for anyone who wasn’t me or the children if they got too close to us. - to be fair she did give warning it’s just that she was so tiny no one took her seriously until after they picked her up and found her teeth sinking in.

What is up with all the psycho animals itt? I grew up with two consecutive dogs as well as a cat and they were all chill as hell around strangers. Both of the dogs would bark a little when people pulled in the yard but then when they could see that we were in no danger, it was suck up for belly rubs time. It’s a good thing we didn’t expect them to be guard dogs because they would have been useless.
