They always have their own methods of opening without requiring a can opener.

I made chili awhile back and the can of tomatoes I used didn't have an opener tab and I was baffled.

I make a lot of curry, chili, and pulled pork, all of which require quite a bit of canned goods, so my can opener does get a routine workout.

Canned tuna is good, and I give a tuna water treat to the cats when I have tuna. Do not do this with tuna in oil (gross anyway), because your cats will probably liquid poo poo afterward.

You know what often comes in cans? Beans and a wide variety of peppers. Also food for pets.

I'd wager that just like cable subscription numbers are trending down and theyve got to get out some time. They're going to try and make as much money as possible on this while they can so expect rate increases

They made a new(ish) kind of can opener that doesn't go on the side and punch down through the top of the can but instead goes on the top and slices through the little tiny rim around the side. They are super cool. The lid acts as a lid even after you cut it open. It just slides right back on and seals up the can just fine for putting leftovers back in the fridge. It also does not leave sharp edges as it cuts through. If you're using a can opener on the regular I really recommend one.

I go to Lotte Mart for spices and poo poo, they're a Korean/Indian/Latin store. I also always tempt fate by buying some of the produce they don't even bother to translate into English, and at least one or two different noodle cups that is most likely going to cause a matter-antimatter explosion in my stomach.

One of the guys I was deployed with had this habit of eating dry ramen and washing it down with sips of water. I thought that was pretty weird. Turns out he got really upset that about lunch arrangements one day after getting left in the office by himself, and was trying to make us feel sorry for him. He did this for like a month and half until he left.
