Whoever it is will have two years of a (hopefully super) majority that they will need to use to bust rear end actually doing poo poo that better's people's lives. Basically the Dems will have exactly that much time to prove they are what people want. I do not envy the next Dem to take office. They will have a lot of damage to undo to contend with, along with an absolute requirement to make average people's lives better.
