so i wasnt aware that low ki went to the same high school as me but i saw he went at the same time as my cousin. i asked my cousin if he remembered him at all and he said he was a weird kid who kept doing karate poses in the cafeteria and got suspended once for going around asking people to pay to hit him as hard as they could.

Low ki is one of the reasons Indy wrestling has stuck around as long as it has. He's a guy who everyone has ripped off and than some. Yeah he can be a real dick sometimes but that's wrestling. Even at his time period it was a weird transition from old school tough guys to what it is now. Legit though low ki is one of the greats. His matches are pretty much what made me discover Indy wrestling in the first place. I still re watch his 2005 match with KENTA in ROH.

Has Low Ki injured a lot of people? I mean, I wouldn't be shocked by it and it does seem like a kind of natural assumption given Ki's style and attitude, but the only person I can actually think of him hurting was that one Hit Squad dude and I thought that was like a hit put out by Homicide because he banged his teenage sister or something?

Just offhand I know he knocked some guy unconscious and was still trying to get his poo poo in on the guy while he was out. He also kneed or kicked Ziggler right in the face in his one WWE PPV match and was fired shortly after.

Yeah, like I said its not that I'm doubting Ki hurts people. His whole style is about being stiff as gently caress and he obviously doesn't have a ton of regard for others. I guess I just find it odd because the only incident I can think of besides Ziggler is him knockout out the Hit Squad dude. And that begs the question of how in control/for show his "stiffness" is. But like "Low Ki actually has hurt a bunch of people" would be the least surprising revelation ever.

In both cases it looks like Ziggler/Ahtu came forward and leaned into the kick which seems like a mistake. But like the bulk of the responsibility should still probably be on the guy delivering the kick and Ki doesn't really deserve the benefit of the doubt since he's well known as a selfish prick.
