It helps that, to me, PD seems like the project Fuller still holds the most affection for.

I guess that kind of thinking comes off as over-entitled to me. If they want to spread out the airing a little bit, that's fine.

hot take: the idea that wanting things to not suck is "over-entitled" needs to die decades ago.

Pushing Daisies wasn't even killed by ratings. It was killed by the writer's strike, just like Terminator: The Sarah Conner Chronicles was (another great show that should've been around much longer)

T:SCC was killed by Dollhouse (tho they were both in danger due to ratings/strike). FOX was only going to renew one half of that double feature and went with Whedon.

As much as I really do enjoy S2 of Dollhouse I'm still butthurt over that.

e: also yeah iirc PD had great ratings before the strike

Also the first half of SCC season 2 was glacial as gently caress, I don't blame them for cancelling it before it suddenly became awesome again.

Those slow thoughtful episodes ruled, it was the middle ones that sucked.

There was a cool thread awhile back recapping it, I'll see if I can dig it up.

The first bit was good. The middle chunk was that big Sarah like three parter that unfortunately went nowhere and ground the season to a halt til she stopped her wild goose chase.

It's her first "major" award nomination ever. Previously she had only received like Teen Choice and MTV Movie Award nods.

She's been nominated for two Television Critics Awards as well, and while the TCAs are deliberately lower key than other awards, I feel like they should count as much or more than the Emmys, SAG, or Golden Globes because TV critics are better read than the other voter pools.
