It was part of Dodd-Frank in 2010 but bank lobbyists managed to delay implementation until 2015, and of course thereafter easily bribed a few democrats to help republicans gut it for 97% of banks, but maybe 100% of banks because they're morons.

i dont think dollar generals food is even really cheaper compared to actual grocery stores. they just have a higher percentage junk food and canned poo poo and no actual food. compare the prices of the same junk at dollar general to a kroger or something
