I'm trying to think of a game hard enough that I couldn't beat it but also not frustrating enough that I still like it and coming up blank. If I stopped playing something it's gonna be because I stopped enjoying it.

Downwell is a fun game but the final boss is just too chaotic to fight, especially on a phone

I think Smash Bros. Ultimate is the Dark Souls of platform fighting games, in that I think I might start keeping track of how many times I've died (currently around 80 or so I think) In the story mode I tried playing other characters but have gone back to Kirby, who is Powerful and Good

Both games I want to be playing right now (Thronebreaker and Subnautica on PS4) are being rendered unplayable by crashes when they try to save. God this sucks.

battle chef brigade is a surprisingly good game but why have an in-game map if you only go to like two locations (I thought you would go to the skyworld with Kirin at least). You never even go into the darkrealm to cook (available only in the daily/free play I guess?  )
