Kamoshida's Castle seems like it'd do really nice for platforming, and is decently recognizable. Mementos actually is my frontrunner, because it's fairly ubiquitous, visually interesting, and has some potentially interesting geometry and stage hazards. The Ship seems like it could have some real potential, but I admit I'm only putting it forward because I want to fight to Rivers in the Desert, damnit! I wouldn't want them to do the Shibuya scramble, but the fact is they could, and it would be a fairly decent stage if done right. And the real wildcard, the Velvet Room has the potential to do some real crazy poo poo as a stage, especially if you get clever and bring in elements of other Velvet Rooms.

Welp, wrapped up P3D (saw credits and did the Elizabeth tracks, probably not gonna plat it). I was very cynical about these new dancing games coming in, but overall it won me over. The presentation was great, the updated character models and backgrounds for P3 were awesome looking, the character scenes were the most entertaining story content I've seen in any of these Persona spinoffs (low bar, I know), and the returning voice actors all did a great job. I still wouldn't recommend it to non-fans because the rhythm game part is still adequate at best and barely changed from P4D. The main thing I was surprised by is the side scenes they replaced the story mode with are actually a total upgrade over the P4D story mode and pretty meaty to boot. They feel like real new S-link scenes, but fully voiced and without the cheesy morality play hook most actual S-links have. Gonna poke at P4D PS4 for a bit and then roll into 5.

Absolutely. Lower speed just fills the screen with notes, and it becomes extremely difficult to keep track of the order they appeared.

I can't recall if stages have descriptions in the Smash Bros games but can you imagine? So, Q2.. When you run into the p3 cast (minus the male protag), the female protag recognizes them all but they all deny any knowledge of having ever met her as the male protag is the "real" canonical character. When you meet up with the male protag a bit later, they both feel as if they are the same person. Not sure if 4th wall gag or if for story reasons exclusive to the Q2 story. Guess we will find out later.
