Yes, but it’s literally the White House sending out messages like today that a deal is coming or progress is being made and it’s almost definitely not true. This collapse last week occurred because two trump advisers got caught in their lie and gave two wildly different stories of the status of China negotiations. Combine this with the fed being either bullied by the White House or worse and the markets are clearly being manipulated.
