Rewinds were originally an homage celebrating some of the most noteworthy trends, videos, and people from YouTube. Like an overlong music video saying "Look at all the neat stuff you made happen this year!"

So if they kept doing that, this year's Rewind would open with Logan Paul wandering through a forest and finding a YouTube play button hanging from a noose, then an Indian Bollywood dance set to a remix of Pewdiepie saying the N-word, before everyone storms YouTube's offices with guns while Dana Loesch and Alex Jones make out. So instead of that, they just get the same handful of YouTube personalities with nothing better to do show up and do Fortnite dances.

Also Will Smith is there for some reason.
