I just took this thing out of the box and yikes. I know it was only 50 bucks but the ball feel is a D- and don't even get me started on the ring feel.

This one has detents at both ends that you can program for afterburner notches, thrust reversers, startup/shutdown, etc

After a day at work I do like the Kensington layout and ring concept. It's a keeper, at least while I refurb my Logitech thumb ball.

Huge props to their software not being a piece of poo poo.

yikes that shift behavior in the typing demo. everything in the video is like a bad kickstarter except the software which is surprisingly capable and the sd storage makes it seem good for transferring setting to workstations

Wouldn't any keyboard other than an on-screen keyboard be a "mechanical keyboard"?

And I'm not sure that an on-screen keyboard wouldn't also be a mechanical keyboard, come to think of it.

i really like this idea, because there's so many times when the keyboard is in the way

you could place:

-your coffee
-a bowl of ramen
-a bowl of cereal
-perfect size for a sandwich

you can also wipe it down and sanitize regularly, and flip the keyboard and shake it over a trashcan to get all the crumbs out
