yeah once I could handwave that it was a paid deal so not really their problem to untangle KSA's mess but the fact they didn't welch on the deal for the return show(and have more planned) amidst growing international outrage over Yeman and the Khashoggi killing is a new level of tone deaf for WWE. They'd have to excise everyone but the wrestlers to ever get me to watch a WWE product ever again. I won't even steal the poo poo now.

As awful as the Owen stuff is in terms of overall harm done to the world the Saudi propaganda has got to have it beat. The Harts are one family but the Saudis are responsible for the deaths of thousands upon thousands of people. Yeesh, WWE sucks.

The fact that WWE dropped any pretense of trying to help Saudi Arabia "progress" and (following the president's lead) openly said that money matters more than SA dismembering a man inside an embassy should easily put the Saudi deal in the finals. It's dystopian levels of capitalist greed and disdain for humanity.

If you compound the independant contractor status with not paying road expenses and paying them pennies on the dollar for my money it might beat both. Simply because in some way these three things have royally hosed with every single performer to ever work for this company and it is the absolute foundation on which this whole lovely company is built.

After doing some more research on the ring boy scandal spurred on by some very helpful quotes from Bix it seems that Mel Phillips raped at least dozens of children and it may have been over 100. Vince McMahon was likely warned of what he was doing several times, including a letter from Lord Littlebrook. Vince actually let Mel go (he would deny Mel was ever employed by the WWF which was true in the sense that John Cena was never employed by WWE) because what he told Meltzer and another reporter that Mel had peculiar and unnatural relationships with children but REHIRED him with the promise he not hang around kids. Then there's Terry Garvin and the Terry Garvin School of Self Defense that Gorilla would joke about. Maybe Tony Schiavone was right not to want to pay tribute to him.
