The stardust and candy costs are based on the buddy distance. For 1km buddies the extra move costs only 10k dust and 25 candies. So, again Golem and Gyarados would be cheap, potentially good candidates for a second move. Now if I could just find some analysis about the dps impact of the second move in case you already have the best charge move on your mon. In the neutral case it could go either way: your dps goes down because half of your energy goes to the new lower dps charge move, or maybe niantic made you gain more energy to compensate for the second move? Maybe you just gain more energy by wasting less when tanking the opponent's moves?

So here's a tip, for some baby-mons its cheaper to buy the charge move when they're a baby then when they're evolved. eg: Magby is only 10k dust and 25 candy for second move BUT Magmar is 75k and 75 candy, dunno what it costs for Magmortermer because I don't have one without 2 moves now. Just checked Budew is 10k/25candy for new move and Roselia 50k/50candy (again dunno about Roserade) so I assume it's the same for all babies at least. So yeah might pay to double check whether it's worth giving them the extra move BEFORE evolving it if you're able.

This probably doesn't work in pvp, but when you battle the trainers and knock out their Pokemon you can keep attacking and it will take damage before it's even out.

When you tap the button, it fills up both energy bars the same amount as it did before. When you click on crunch, it removes 1/3rd of the stone edge bar, and when you click on stone edge, it drains out the entire crunch bar.

So there are four possible chances (1 vs trainer, 3 PvP) per day to get a sinnoh stone. Between me, my alt, and my wife over two days (24 possible chances) we have gotten two sinnoh stones. As a side note, my alts items were full and I thought it missed out (no reward given - just the item full notification). On the next battle it received 500 stardust and a sinnoh stone. So if you get the item full error I think the reward carries over to the next battle. To be safe though it’s probably best to make sure you have item space before battling. edit: did the battles today and now it’s up to 4/36 - so maybe 1 in 10ish? slave to my cravings fucked around with this message at 17:06 on Dec 14, 2018 |

Are you supposed to get a reward every time you PVP against the bots? I only ever get it for the first fight against one of them. If I fight the other 2, I get nothing.

I used a 2491 gengar in the 2500 league, and it kicked rear end using shadow ball. I would assume metagross would be a great generalist too. Charizard with blast burn is also really good too.

I've done a full set of PvP matches each day and haven't won a single Sinnoh Stone, no matter if I won or lost. My coworker I've been battling against has gotten about 2-3 per day since PvP launched.
