i flunked out posted:I've been wondering about the legendary effect stacking. Why was it put into the game? Increase the amount of time you spend at the end of the game farming for legendaries, which increases how much time you spend in game and therefore increases the probability that you'll buy something from the Atom shop. In fairness I think it's a fine idea, conceptually, to have multiple effects. The issue is that the effects even alone aren't remotely balanced against each other.
