This means everything will need to be designed in squares like a tabletop game. I am actually interested in VR now if I can play turn based roleplay games with them.

I think I kinda subconsciously expected a gas explosion to be like a movie-style big fat slow fireball, so it’s kinda surprising just how much that looked like a bomb/actual high explosives.

Movie pyrotechnics use a lot of slow-burning fuels like gasoline to cause those dramatic rolling fireballs, while natural gas burns very quickly and essentially functions as a fuel-air explosive in a confined space.

Maybe warn people they're watching the last moments of the lives of a whole lot of people. FYI - it's when a tsunami struck a rock concert in Indonesia today. Hundreds are dead, including a lot of people in that video.

At our crane training institute, there’s a photo set from the 70s of a harbor crane collapsing. You can see one guy take it off as he runs. I think there’s some weird impulse of “It’s going to fall off!” when they’re not on tight enough and start getting jostled by running.

Instinct was to use hand on top of it to hold it onto my head. Similar to the many times I've had to keep the drat thing from being blown off on really windy days. I could see how someone would react and just grab the thing so they could just run like a normal person.
