reduced the grind size and added a bit of soy milk (it's okay because soy is a bean like coffee) medium roast is now okay-to-good got a 5lb bag of dark roast ready to go though :]

The half-and-half experiment has ended and I’ve gone back to using milk (whole milk, obvs.). Ultimately I think the problem was that half-and-half isn’t homogenized so as the coffee cooled the cream would separate back out and be  .
