I'd lean toward the Sport's Dad thing, but I can see the argument of some plays being a mirror to what the defense would typically expect, so that *may* have some kind of impact.

There's probably some benefit since Mentally Ill Sports Dads coach you for 22 years and give you more attention and playing time as a result.

Also most athletes are just as stupid as Mentally Ill Sports Dads, so defenses might freak out and spend inordinate amounts of time preparing for LEFT HANDED QB.
