I didn't realize the Green Carnation guy had been working with Subterranean Masquerade, so I was pretty happy to hear this thing from last year. I'm glad that Scorched album is getting the props it deserves. They showed up at MDF this year as a last second substitution for a band that couldn't make it, and they were easily one of my favorite sets of the whole fest.Klaaz posted:Warbringer was good before everyone except the vocalist got replaced. Every year I pick a top 5 releases and it’s usually a little bit of everything but this year it was mostly metal. Khemmis - Desolation Deafheaven - Ordinary Corrupt Human Love YOB - Our Raw Heart Pig Destroyer - Head Cage Turnstile - Time & Space Honorable mention to Windhand - Eternal Return Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats - Wasteland It was a good rear end year for music. Especially metal.
