Do you have a physical copy or digital? If it’s digital, try deleting it and reinstalling, that might work.

If it’s physical you can try removing the latest update from the Switch and re-installing. You will miss out on your character unlocks but probably worth it.

Are you sure it isn’t hardware though? Try different controllers in different ports of your GameCube adapter, try a friend’s adapter if you’ve got one. It does sound like hardware as it’s a very odd software glitch to have! Are you moving the GameCube adapter at all during very animated smashing? Because jerking it around might cause a problem. I always recommend unplugging everything, and then procedurally going through all your components to try and find the one that’s causing the error.

This. I eventually put it down with plans to come back to it because I had heard enough of the same songs, and it isn't really a game you can play without the music. You could but it gets messy.

Is this puzzle mode? I think I've cleared about 10 of them. I had to skip the 4x4 block though. I still haven't cracked that secret.

The biggest chunk of DLC content opens up after you complete all four beasts, but there's a smaller questline and various new items you can get at any point in the story so there's some benefit to just buying it now. Do it :homebrew:

I'd even recommend that you don't get all the shrines before doing the four beasts so you can make the most of the DLC end-reward.

I don't think any of the characters are a bad choice so just pick your favorite!

You'll be able to multi-class not that far into the game so you can make anyone a healer, but what I really like to do give Ophelia the warrior class. She won't be as strong as some of the other characters, but she'll be the tankiest tank that ever tanked (and she can still heal!) :black101:

It's not neccesary at all, I recommend picking the character you like the look of the most as they will always be in your party.

also, yeah this

a lot of people like recommending Therion for ~maximum efficiency~ but personally I didn't really like Therion and barely even used him, I would not have enjoyed having him stuck with me for 80 hours. There's no wrong answer but you will be stuck with them in your party so it's much more important to pick a character you like imo

So I always have to have huntress in my party if I use that save? That sucks, her special power seems not that great. That seems like a bad mechanic but whatever.

Pretty much until post game, it is a bad mechanic yes. However don't sweat it too much, I had haanit in my party all the time anyway despite starting with Prim because I liked her and just swapped in Olberic on the occasions I needed a fight power that didn't suck, it's easy to swap as every use of that power that is needed is in a town near an inn I believe.

I hardly used Therion as well. Only thing is if you really care about opening the purple chests and/or if you mind backtracking or not later to get stuff you want.

Her base class has an ability to heal beyond 100% health which is awesome. Actually lots of cross-classing works well for the support ability synergy plus active ability options.

It's the same as the Switch pro controller fix, the dpad sensors are too sensitive so you gotta add some tape to numb them a bit. This is what mine looks like:

That's pretty much what mine looks like, too. Just make sure you don't cover too much of each contact's inner area, or it'll become nigh-unresponsive. Also may require some experimentation with how many layers of tape to put. I think I stuck with just one, since two layers made the d-pad feel way too stiff and hard to register.

Neat, but if anything my SF30 Pro isn't sensitive enough. I'm regularly plagued by missed inputs--probably once an hour, which is more than enough when it's the difference between pulling Success and Huge Failure in Hand of Fate 2 (on PC but point stands, I get the same misses using it for Switch)

That said it's missed button AND dpad inputs so now I'm wondering if it's just Bluetooth being an utterly poo poo protocol or wavelength or something
