Most of my liveposting time happens during downtime at work and I prefer not having to be ultra-careful scrolling down lest I get another giant bird dick in my face.

The biggest value of the serious thread recently has been for the been post AGDQ commentary, discussions, and recommendations. With the past AGDQs I ignore most of the live stream, then when it's over I pop into the serious thread to find out the must-watches and final fundraising results. I'll even go as far to say as you don't even need to post it until the event is about to wind down.

There were a couple incidents where people messed up and did so but those people edited it out when they realized and apologized. edit: Line-pushing has been happening notably less since the mods warned everyone.
