Help Im Alive posted:Do people play the Ace Combat games with flight sticks 5 and 6 had bundles that came with flight sticks (and I think 7 does too) but all that did was keep me from playing them because I'd go "hey I should play that game but I don't want to setup the flight stick and it seems like it'd be a waste not to" i don't remember if I ever finished 5, know that i've barely played zero, and finally broke the curse and said gently caress it by playing 6. selling those dumb sticks was one of the best decisions i've made, game-wise.

Ace combat games seem too arcadey to be fun flight stick games but it's probably a good gateway drug.

actually now i'm kinda wondering if i'd like the splinter cell games or not i usually get mildly annoyed in games when stealth goes awry but I don't think i've played a game built around stealth since... oh, MGS3, really

Like Hitman, it took until the third SC game for them to really get everything working. The first couple of games are pretty rough to go back to.
