I guess I'll vent my feelings about the AGDQ Chat thread since it came up and I'm still bitter about it. I posted in that thread ever since its inception. I don't mesh as well with many of the people there but it was still a riot when a fun run got going. Just lots of dumb fun making stupid jokes and laughing at games in a casual environment. It was nice because we didn't have to worry about every post having "value"; kind of like these threads. We got our dumb poo poo post thread and the serious thread was much more readable as a result. I dunno when the whole fanart spam thing started; wasn't really a fan of it. Don't mind the occasional picture being posted but people really spammed that poo poo. I actually voiced my disappointment with that but people mostly seemed in favor of just letting people have their fun. The horny posting was weird though; I never understood it, but I don't understand a lot of things about casual chat because I'm an antisocial idiot. So I just did my best to ignore it. I did report the blatant porn pictures I saw because that was just gross but you gotta understand with how fast the thread moved I didn't even see most of them. Plus when the thread got really spammy with pics I often bowed out to just watch the run or work on art or something. If the thread had been reopened but without fanart I bet it would of been fine. Instead it stayed closed during my favorite part of the event. That really bummed me out. I don't disagree with many of the probations but acting like the thread had no value is just rude. It was still really fun for a lot of people that had nothing to do with horny spam or whatever. Overall its loss has made this AGDQ a lot less enjoyable for me. They are usually one of the few times I really enjoy being on this dead internet forum. So yeah, I'm still sad about it. Something did need to be done but I don't think it was fair to ban a new thread from being made. I just wanted to shitpost about runs and make stupid gifs.

The Games Done Quick thread actually appears to be reopened again? I’ve never watched Games Done Quick before and am not really familiar with it. Which is surprising for me because if there’s one thing I like doing it’s finding opportunities to poo poo post because that’s all I do here.
