So chik-fil-a is not funding death squads per se but they indirectly supporting atrocities against lgbtq people overseas.

You should be able to file for restraining orders on behalf of another person even if they don't want them. If I have evidence that someone's spouse is being abusive and they are trying to make it work because they are in an unhealthy relationship and have no self-respect, the law should be able to intervene. Nobody should ever be allowed to decline to press charges if there is proof.

There has not exactly been made a very strong case for American fundamentalist as the root cause of Ugandan violent homophobia. Why would they succeed there in spreading their ideology to such a degree, but not in other places? To me such ideas seem to imply a suggestability that is weirdly close to colonial racist views on naive and simple natives
