Yeah, you can see elements of Candice in a lot of the AIW guys, even more so than Johnny for most (how they use blood in matches is a big one I notice all the time). And yeah agreed. 33 isn't that old, but she's been wrestling for 16-17 years now and taking a lot more big hits for years as part of being an intergender match specialist. If it's become clear that they don't have a character or role for her in NXT I don't blame her for slowing down.

What are the chances that she is having trouble picking up the wwe style and that's being taken as lazy and complacent? It wouldn't be the first time WWE has a problem with someone because they have an exact way of doing things and that person has other strengths.

Mia is in a weird spot right now, simply because she's been getting a lot of flak from reviewers for her performance. She was one of the weakest links in the 4HW #1 Contenders match. Either her or Lacey. And I guess she's been really sloppy at house shows as well as of late. It seems like something was lost in translation between the Mae Young Classic and NXT. I dunno what people think of her backstage, but I do feel like she's being slotted firmly into a midcard like role for now. I guess we'll see what direction they go after Takeover: Phoenix, assuming Shayna retains. Because I don't think she is leaving Takeover: New York as NXT Women's Champion. Anyways, Asuka has been gushing over Ace Combat 7. Maybe she'll win the title later in the year, but it won't be from Shayna. Bianca is a tweener at the absolute best. And people are criticizing her promo because she came across as pretty rough last night. It felt like she was channeling some generic mean girl/nicki minaj like character. I'm not saying Bianca doesn't have significant upside, but her time isn't now, and it won't be at the expense of the top female heel. You generally don't have a tweener (although closer to heel) take the title from the top heel in a division. It's bad booking. You have a babyface take the title from the top heel, and work from there. I also don't see Shayna losing the title now that the MMA 4HW are firmly established in NXT. Especially to someone who has no backup at all, and is also pretty widely despised by the locker room, kayfabe wise.
